Week 29 - Warrior

“You are a warrior.”

He said. (My God said to me.)

“What?

“Not me?”

I replied.

“You are a mighty warrior”

He said.

“No. I am weak.”

“You have the wrong person”

I persisted.

“You are a warrior.”

“A mighty warrior.”

God declared once again.

Why can I not accept such a honorable title proclaimed by my Creator God of truth?

As I let the words “mighty warrior” sink in my heart and then my soul, something quite miraculous happens. I begin to feel stronger on the inside.

Of course I am a mighty warrior if God gives me this title. He names it with purpose. I must accept it to carry out His plan.

The power within me through the Holy Spirit, must not lie dormant.

When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said, “The Lord is with you, mighty warrior.”

‭‭Judges‬ ‭6‬:‭12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“You are a mighty warrior” He says to you.
