How to Be Aware of God's Presence Daily

How can we be aware of God’s presence with us?

I see many devotionals instructing us to be aware of God’s presence with us. But how do we make this happen?

I asked Jesus.

He said, “Look for God’s goodness in all things.”

James 1:17 NIV

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

Recognize

notice

observe

identify

acknowledge

every good and perfect gift, all good things from above.

And thank Him for each one.

I can do this. Right? I do thank God for a lot of things. However, I can’t say that I bring Him thanksgiving for every good thing. Surely, I can increase my recognition of the good I see.

Let’s accept God’s good and perfect gifts and increase our awareness of His presence with us. God gives us good every day. This act reveals His presence.

Let’s pray.

Dear heavenly Father, Author of all good,

I see the good around me and receive it as your mighty presence with me. You are with me! I cannot disregard or overlook the good in my life. What an amazing, lovely revelation you have shared Father God.

Praise you God and your goodness toward us. I adore your presence, my Creator.

In Jesus name,
