Jesus is able to do.

God is able to do.

The Holy Spirit is able to do.

TO DO:

to achieve bringing only success

to execute exactly what is needed

to arrange everything perfectly for the best outcome

to cause events to line up as needed for prosperous results

to finish by carrying through all that is required to bring to a perfect conclusion.

Notice a lot of these things, maybe all these things, we struggle with. But not your God. He finds no challenge in the "do" (getting it done).

To change our thought life this week, we will consider that God is able to do. He is able to do what we can't do or accomplish. He is able to achieve, execute, arrange, cause and finish.

Choose one of these verbs to keep on your mind when you meditate on God or Jesus saying "I am able to do."

God is able to:

achieve

execute

arrange

cause

finish

I think my favorite is God is able to finish. Boy oh boy I could use some help with the finish, the completion, carrying something through... I may find it a challenge to finish a lot of things in my life; but God has no challenges. He does not forget, run out of time, neglect or put off.

Focusing on the mighty ability that God has to do things increases your confidence that with God there will be success.

You are changing your thought life! Wow!

Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do super abundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever.
