Be Still, God Knows Your Needs

Psalm 46:10-11

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God"... The Lord Almighty is with us.

You have probably heard this verse before. God gave me a new thanksgiving in it! As I prayed today and struggled with the words for my requests, God gently said, "Be Still, know that I am God and know that I am with you. I know your needs and your heart." No need to voice your needs always. He says, "Just be still, know I am God who knows your thoughts, your worries and your mind." "Know these things and simply be still" he reassured me. With that my thanksgiving came quickly. I hope you too can be still sometimes and know He is God, then let thanksgiving come.
